Coinciding with the foundation’s 35th anniversary of the EUROPEAN COMMUNITIES ARTISTS LIBRARY (BACE) created in Barcelona, Catalunya, Spain in 1986,
the Museum of the Americas BACE’s worldwide representative, and the collaboration of THE MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAS ARTISTS’ LIBRARY, are editing the
book titled “THE BEST FINE ARTISTS GOLDEN BOOK” with 136 participant artists representing Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Belgium,
Bolivia, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Dubai, Ecuador, France, Germany, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungary,
Iceland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Morocco, Mexico, Norway, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Romania, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom,
United States, Uruguay and Venezuela.

The participants have been selected with the assistance of art critics, BACE’s Editor Carlos Giudicessi, all under the supervision of the Museum of the Americas
Artworks’ approval and selection has been a monumental task due to the large number of artists wishing to participate.
Some of the artworks shown in the book belong to the MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAS PERMANENT COLLECTION (a fact which has been clearly indicated in
the corresponding pages).
The purpose of this publication is not only to show the artists’ artworks but to promote them through the DIGITAL EDITION which is being sent to selected museums,
galleries, art collectors, architects and designers in Africa, America, Asia and Europe by electronic mail. Later on the book’s printed version will be mailed to all of
them AS A GIFT so they can appreciate the extraordinary artworks of many important artists. Dubai Art Promotions will be responsible in part for the distribution.
Many great and famous artists are showing their artworks in the book but it is interesting to mention the participation of a very young artist -11 years old - being Luisa
Barabas from Hungary who in spite of being so young, her art has already gained internationally recognition. In this instance, I wished to mention her as an example to
follow by young children with artistic aptitudes.
In this occasion biographies are not being published . Due to several reasons, among them space availability plus the Editor having in mind the saying:
“AN IMAGE IS WORTH A THOUSAN WORDS”, biographies may be requested directly to the artists by contacting them through the electronic mail addresses
shown in the book for each one of the artists.

Catalunya, España, en 1986, el Museum of the Americas, representante mundial de la BACE y con la colaboración de MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAS ARTISTS
LIBRARY edita este libro titulado "THE BEST FINE ARTISTS GOLDEN BOOK" con la participación de 136 artistas que representan a Alemania, Argelia,
Argentina, Armenia, Australia, Austria, Bélgica, Bolivia, Brasil, Bulgaria, Canadá, Colombia, Corea del Sur, Costa Rica, Cuba, Chile, Dubai, Ecuador, España, Estados
Unidos, Francia, Guatemala, Honduras, Hungría, Islandia, Israel, Italia, Latvia, Marruecos, México, Noruega, Países Bajos, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Reino Unido,
República Dominicana, Rumania, Rusia, Suiza, Uruguay y Venezuela.
Los participantes fueron seleccionados con la ayuda de críticos de arte, el Editor de la BACE, D. Carlos Giudicessi y la supervisión del Museum of the Americas a
través de una árdua y larga labor ya que decenas de artistas enviaron sus obras para ser aprobadas y seleccionadas.
Algunas de las obras pertenecen a la COLECCION PERMANENTE DEL MUSEUM OF THE AMERICAS (lo cual está señalado en las páginas que corresponde).
El propósito de este libro no es solamente la ilustración de las obras sino nuestra intención de promoverlas a través de la EDICION DIGITAL enviada por correo
electrónico a selectos museos, galerías, coleccionistas, arquitectos y decoradores de Africa, América, Asia y Europa quienes más tarde recibirán como REGALO un
ejemplar impreso para que puedan apreciar las extraordinarias obras de estos importantes artistas. Parte de la distribución estará a cargo de International Art Promotions
de Dubai.

Entre los participantes podemos destacar a grandes maestros y maestras así como a una artista de solamente 11 años de edad (Luisa Barabas de Hungría) que, pese a su
corta edad, tiene una amplia trayectoria internacional. El Editor quiso ilustrar su obra como ejemplo para otros niños con inquietudes artísticas.
Por varias razones, entre ellas el espacio, el Editor no publica las biografías que pueden solicitarse a los artistas en forma directa ya que cada uno de ellos publica
direcciones electrónicas de contacto. Otra de las razones editoriales se basa en aquel refrán que dice "UNA IMAGEN VALE MAS QUE MIL PALABRAS".
