 What are ISO/TS 16949, AIAG’s Core Tools and VDA
Volumes?
ISO/TS 16949 is an evidence that the company understands and comply
with common Quality System requirements by OEMs in IATF, including
members of AIAG and VDA
AIAG Manuals/Core Tools are a set of standards published and required by
the American OEMs (e.g. Chrysler, Ford, and
General Motors)
VDA Volumes are standards and methods published and required by
German OEMs and their major suppliers (e.g. BMW, Daimler,
Volkswagen, Bosch, Continental, ZF)
