II. Subject Matter

Topic: Heterogenous and Homogeneous Mixtures

Materials: Laptop, projector, videos, pictures and realia

Subject Integration: Reading

III. Procedure

A. Preparation Activities
 Prayer
 Greetings
 Energizer
 Classroom Rules

 Mixture
 Ask some students what are the different kinds of mixture.
C. Motivation
 The teacher shows a video containing a homogeneous and
heterogeneous mixture, afterwards the teacher asks the following
questions.

1. What have you observed from the video?

D. Proper Lesson
 The teacher discuss the topic
 What is mixture
 2 kinds of Mixture
A. Homogenous Mixture

Example: Pictures

Fruit Salad Sand and Water

Soup

E. Group Activity
The students will be divided into three groups. Each group will be given a
task to do.

 Group 1
Give atleast 3 examples of homogeneous mixture
 Group 2
Give atleast 3 examples of heterogeneous mixture
 Group 3
