Leni Robredo and Bongbong Marcos had the greatest accomplishments in terms of prior programs and

activities on environment, climate change, or disaster risk management, according to all of the data
gathered above. Vice President Leni Robredo, office of the Vice President, has been present during every
natural catastrophe that has struck the country, particularly typhoons. Robredo's office was converted
into a center for humanitarian initiatives. Conducting relief items, basic necessities of the afflicted
people, and there is always a leader who is eager to assist the Filipino people. Angat Buhay's partner,
the Tanging Yaman Foundation, raised roughly P40 million in monetary donations from private residents
for the relief effort. Through these successes, we can see that Vice President Robredo has programs and
efforts in the environment, climate, and risk reduction management, which makes her an effective
leader. When VP Leni is elected President, she has a vision of having environmental programs, and she
has better plans in terms of environmental and climate change challenges based on her plans. VP Leni is
also successful in dealing with the health difficulties that our country is now dealing with. When our
country had a covid strike, VP Leni collaborated with private-sector partners to provide a shuttle service
for healthcare professionals and frontline employees. She also highlighted her Covid-19 efforts, which
include a vaccine drive-through, mobile antigen testing, and telemedicine consultations. Robredo has
promised to fight to develop and support healthcare system if she is elected. This would need
assembling a council of experts to advise the government, overhauling the ailing Philippine Health
Insurance Corporation, assuring fair remuneration and benefits for medical frontline staff, instituting
free testing, supporting hospitals, and securing enough drug supply, all of which are good initiatives for
our health sector.

According to the information gathered above, Bongbong Marcos is concerned about our
environmental affairs. Marcos has instituted a lot of bills in the Senate, including Senate Bill No. 2885,
the Climate Change Education Act, to further his environmental agenda. He is involved in providing
solutions to climatic issues. Marcos also oversaw the construction of windmills in Ilocos Norte, which
have become a symbol of the Philippines' renewable energy initiative. The solar farm in Ilocos Norte will
use clean energy to meet half of the province's power needs. People in Ilocos Norte should be very
proud because we continue to use sustainable energy to reduce our environmental footprint. Marcos
refers to it as the "Tawid-Covid (Surviving Covid), Beyond Covid" program, which then would emphasize
improving the working conditions of frontline medical personnel, including increased pay and benefits.

Lacson served as President Barack Obama's Special Assistant for Rehabilitation and Recovery.
Lacson promises that if elected president, he will "institutionalize" free COVID testing, increasing
pandemic response and treatment. The universal healthcare law requires P260 billion to be fully
implemented (UHC law). Pacquiao is also a supporter of Republic Act No. 8749, also known as the
Philippine Clean Air Act of 1999. Pacquiao has promised to build medical facilities in all of the country's
nearly 42,000 barangays, as well as tertiary hospitals in every city and province. Implementing green
spaces in the city, according to Isko Moreno, can help generate cleaner and more breathable air. Mayor
Isko Moreno Domagoso said the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation would be led by a financial
expert (PhilHealth). However, as a leader, he should consider our environment, solving climate issues so
that our country and people do not suffer, and responding to disasters with effective execution and
implementation for the sake of the people, as we see a gap between Robredo's and Marcos' former
policies. However, because they are focusing on other issues, some of the other candidates have fewer
plans or projects related to our environment and climate change.
