Hmmmm, having a “badass logo” doesn't really matter

unless you can back it up. Here are a few that can:

The “Broken TV Set” of the 3d Infantry Division. One of

the most storied divisions ever. They were the only U.
S. division to fight on every campaign in the European
theater and they kicked ass everywhere they went as
the amphibious fist of the US Army. They became the
“fire brigade” of the US Army in the Korean War. And
they stood in defiance of the Warsaw Pact for almost
half a century. Biggest, baddest, meanest
motherfuckers ever. You’d never know it from their
logo.

The “Electric Taro Leaf”, the logo of the Hawaiian

Division, later the 24th Infantry Division.

They distinguished themselves beating the Japanese all

over the Pacific and the held the door open for US Army
troops to fight in the Korean War at Pusan. They were
the heavy mailed fist of the XVIII Corps in the first Gulf
War.

This is the very unassuming regimental crest of the

15th Infantry Regiment, the most storied regiment in the
entire goddamn Army. They were the point of the spear
everywhere they went from China to Afghanistan. And
any who stood in their way regretted it quickly. You’d
never know by their cute and friendly little dragon logo,
would you?

This is the logo of the 64th Armored Regiment.

Originally an all black unit constituted with ideas of
racial prejudice that distinguished itself in some of the
toughest ETO fighting in Italy’s Po Valley. The rampant
‘black African elephant’ went on to kick Chinese ass all
over Korea and stood ready against 60 Warsaw Pact
armored divisions. Don’t fuck with these guys, your day
will get much worse.

If you think having some kind of cool logo matters, join

the marines. Real talk, a skull or whatever on your logo
doesn’t matter unless you have the exploits to back it
up. And if you do have the exploits to back it up, people
will respect your logo, even if it looks like a broken
fucking TV set.

My personal favourite would be the SAS, the dagger

with wings for they are able to be deployed by air while
firstly it is the insignia of one of the best if not the best
special forces in the world, and secondly its motto is
one which just shows how they push themselves for
who dares, wins!

An honorary mention is the Royal Gurka Rifles, serving

in the british army since 1816 after a peace treaty was
signed with nepal after a bloody war they showed how
capable they were, and were given the honour of being
able to serve in our army and remained loyal ever since,
while there is the Kurki’s making up their insignia with
the crown over the top to show there allegiance to the
crown, they truly deserve a mention for being the most
feared regiment in the world, the Gurkas train with
these knifes and are experts in its use, the old saying
goes every time a Gurkas kurki is drawn from it’s hilt
blood must be drawn by the blade.

I would say the 7th Bomb Wing. I was a member of the

7BMW at Carswell AFB in Fort Worth, Texas from 1986–
1993. I was a B-52H Crew Chief. The 7BMW is now
based at Dyess AFB in Abilene, Tx. They currently fly
the B-1 bomber. The wings’ patch is in Latin. It says
“Mors Ab Alto.” It translates to “Death From Above.”
