At the end of the 45-minute discussion, the students should be able to:
Differentiate prime from composite factors
Identify the factors of a given up to 100
Work collaboratively and participate to group activities

C. Materials: PPT Presentation, Flashcard, Cartolina, LM Math grade 4

Pairing Game. Have a drill on a basic addition fact. Use flashcard or window card.
Encourage pupils to answer with speed and accuracy.

Have a review on changing fraction into lowest terms.
Ask the students to give an example.

Summarize the lesson by asking: What is a prime number? What is a composite
number? How do you determine whether a number is a prime or composite number?
A prime number is a number with only two factors: one and itself.
The composite number is a number with three or more factors.
The number of factors determines whether a number is prime or
composite.

See the value of acceptance and belongings in dealing to others.
