PREAMBLE
After the construction of the walls as explained earlier, we sought advice from the
construction Engineer Mr. Mukoya on the roofing aspect. He gave us ok to engage a roofing
artisan of our choice.
Having discussed and unanimously agreed, we engaged Mr. Samson Omondi from Nakuru.
Mr. Omondi runs a welding and fabrication business in Nakuru,and has roofed our Bukwala
and Akatsa churches and therefore a household name.

EXPENDITURE
RHS –steel tubes transport -ksh 65,000/=
Welding nods and cutting disk -ksh 1550/=
Fundis labour -ksh 10,000/=
Miscellaneous expenses -ksh 3450/=
NB Miscellaneous expenses included
-loading /transportation /offloading second butch of 105Iron sheets, boda boda to and from
hardware shops, m-pesa charges, arranging the iron sheets for safekeeping etc.
Summary
Out of the total 255 iron sheets collected from the donor family and 40 ridges, 185 sheets and
13 ridges are on the roof.70 iron sheets and 27 ridges are on hand.
