    CHURCH ROOFING PHASE 1

    PREAMBLE

    After the construction of the walls as explained earlier, we sought advice from the
    construction Engineer Mr. Mukoya on the roofing aspect. He gave us ok to engage a roofing
    artisan of our choice.

    Having discussed and unanimously agreed, we engaged Mr. Samson Omondi from Nakuru.
    Mr. Omondi runs a welding and fabrication business in Nakuru,and has roofed our Bukwala
    and Akatsa churches and therefore a household name.

    ROOFING –PHASE I

    Our church treasurer released cash to us and accounted for as follows

    On 15/7/202 cash ksh 3000/=

    On 17/07/2022 cash ksh 407,000/=

    On 02/8/202 cash ksh 500

    Total 442,000/-
    EXPENDITURE
    -Bus/matatu fare for 2 to Kisumu – ksh 1800/=
    Roofing steel matrials ksh 297,000/=
    Transportation from Nakuru ksh 9,000/=
    Offloading/safekeeping at the school ksh 600/=
    temporary store.
    Electricity connection kiosk construction ksh 3000/=
    Electricity connection ksh 22,000/=
    Fundis’s labour down payment ksh 50,000/=
    Paints/brushes/paraffin ksh 5850/=
    Kenya power token ksh 1000/=-m-pesa
    Fundis second payment ksh 21,000/=
    Fundis third payment ksh 2000/=
    Fundis fourth payment ksh 27,000/=
    Miscellaneous expenses ksh 3055/=
    Sub total ksh ksh 443,305/=
    Less over expenditure ksh1,305/=

    Ksh 1305 /= over spent will be accounted for later
    NB Miscellaneous expenses in the above expenditure included: boda boda fare to and from
    hardware shops, transportation of materials, for roofing, m-pesa charges etc

    On 16/8/2022 received ksh 80,000/=
    EXPENDITURE
    RHS –steel tubes transport -ksh 65,000/=
    Welding nods and cutting disk -ksh 1550/=
    Fundis labour -ksh 10,000/=
    Miscellaneous expenses -ksh 3450/=
    NB Miscellaneous expenses included
    -loading /transportation /offloading second butch of 105Iron sheets, boda boda to and from
    hardware shops, m-pesa charges, arranging the iron sheets for safekeeping etc.
    Summary
    Out of the total 255 iron sheets collected from the donor family and 40 ridges, 185 sheets and
    13 ridges are on the roof.70 iron sheets and 27 ridges are on hand.
