1. What is the significance of the first activities. Why did we have to do it?

- To rededicate the lives of youth to the ideals of freedom and nationalism, for which our heroes lived and
died. To pay tribute to our national hero for devoting his life and works in shaping the Filipino character.
To gain an inspiring source of patriotism through the study of Rizal's life, works, and writings.
2. Which words you've listed about Rizal best describes him? Why?

- The best word to described Jose Rizal that I’ve listed above was a HERO because he was one of those
who sacrificed his life to achieve our freedom.

3. What is the meaning behind your choosen Symbol?

-Jose Rizal became the Philippine national hero because he fought for freedom in a silent but powerful
way. He expressed his love for the Philippines through his novels, essays and articles rather than through
the use of force or aggression. He was a very amazing person at his time.
