My Vision
I’m an evolved accomplished academician across different era of educational system
around the World. My vision as highlighted through my skills in my resume has been inline with
this University’s vision that is EEE (Expansion, Excellence, Equity).
Expansion : I’ve expanded the horizon of my knowledge, fellow colleagues, students and
the institution’s exposure within India as well as Worldwide through conferences, research col-
laborations, visiting fellowships, updating with current affairs in the Industry, industrial collabo-
rations, membership with various reputed professional bodies, reviewer of reputed journals to
name a few. I’ve been in the advisory board for various university committees in designing the
curriculum, infrastructural development for various schools etc.
Excellence: I, as a Head of the Department as well as Dean of Sciences has contributed sig-
nificantly for my institution’s NAAC accreditations, Autonomous procedures. During my tenure,
I’ve been the pioneer to develop research activities within the institution and the area, to promote
Excellence amongst the students which was recognized by major & minor research grants
awarded to us. I was solely awarded as “Best Teacher” for Chemistry by Tamilnadu State Coun-
cil for Higher Education. I received a “Best Teacher” National Award for Chemistry by Chemi-
cal Research Society of India. I had contributed overall for my institutions excellence through
my active research, awards, academic excellence, students progression & support producing
prominent alumni. In my 33 years of academic experience, I’ve produced thriving students, re-
searchers and academicians who’re serving the society in education and other industries.
Equity: I embrace students,faculties across different regions, religions, economical and ge-
ographical background, differently abled persons and provide opportunities equally without any
disparity. I was well respected amongst my students and community for supporting economically
challenged researchers and students. Coming from a rural area, I understand the challenges of
under served community specially for women and had been promoting women empowerment
through helping them with admissions and fee structures.
I conclude by saying that with my acumen of expansion, excellence and equity and desire
to contribute to the society through the pursuit of education, learning and research at the highest
international level of excellence. I shall be given an opportunity to serve the institution and con-
tribute to implementing the vision.
