7. Bet types, odds and prizes

7.1 Explanation of bet types

Main Draw and 2nd Chance Draw

Bet9ja Lotto has two draws, the first the Main Draw, and the 2nd Chance (Machine Odds draw).

As such, the Odds payout is different for each draw.

2nd Chance Odds are ONLY applicable for NAP, PERM, and 1st Drawn Bets, NOT Colours.

9 | Page
PERM Bets
The PERM (number) decides the amount of combination
bets (permutations that are placed).
For example: If someone chooses 5 numbers and selects
PERM2, he bets on all of the possible combinations of 2
number winning combinations (in this example a total of
10 individual bets are made).
In Sports betting terms, this would be placing 10 ‘Double’
bets based on 5 selections.

NAP Bets

For NAP bets, ALL selected numbers must be drawn. If

someone chooses 5 numbers and selects NAP5, this
means that ALL the 5 selected numbers must be drawn
to win the bet.
In Sports betting terms, this would be placing a Multiple
with 5 selections.

10 | Page
FIRST Number Drawn
Your chosen number must be FIRST winning number
drawn to win the bet.
Example - If you select number 5, and the First Winning
number drawn is number 5, you win! However in the
example that the number 5 was the 3rd Drawn number,
you wouldn’t win.

Colours

You have the choice to bet on 4+ or 5 Colours.

Betting on 4+ means that if 4 (OR all 5) of the Winning

Numbers (Main Draw) are of the chosen colour, you win
the Odds for Colour 4+ (ODDS 15).

Betting on 5 means that ALL 5 of the Winning Numbers

(Main Draw) are of the chosen colour, you will win the
Odds for Colour 5 (ODDS 200)

7.2 Bet types and Odds

The odds are laid out below:

Bet Type Win Odds 2nd Chance (Machine) Odds

NAP1-PERM1 10 1
NAP2-PERM2 240 2
NAP3-PERM3 2,500 100
NAP4-PERM4 10,000 1000
NAP5-PERM5 100,000 10,000
FIRST 50 1
