INTRODUCTION
Since birth, humans enter into a relationship. Broadly, there are four types of
relationships. Family relationships, Friendship, Romantic relationship,
Acquaintances. Relationships have many forces that influence the behaviour of
other people at all levels. Human relations involve mainly communication, self-
awareness, acceptance, motivation, trust, disclosure, and conflict management.
These are the pillars in human relations with personal growth and satisfaction. For
instance, having a good employer and employee relationship is significant for an
organization if it wants to succeed in this competitive world.
WHAT IS A HUMAN RELATIONSHIP?

We can define relationships as a bond between two people based on mutual likes,
understanding, need, or love. Human beings are dependent in nature. We rely on
each other to survive or succeed in life. The interdependence of people therefore
leads to development of interpersonal relationships that are built with the aim of
making life better and building frameworks for success. Relationships are a
common phenomenon in the society and they are found everywhere in families,
schools, work places, professional teams etc. Each kind of relationship has its own
requirements and unofficial rules and each individual relates with a second
individual in a unique way depending on the characters of the two individuals.
There is no perfect society and every relationship is built on very strong foundations
of mistakes and compromise. The strongest relationships are built through people
relating with each other and knowing each other with time.
ASPECTS OF HUMAN RELATIONSHIP
The development of a good relationship among human beings living together is of
great importance to both the people and the community. Like everything
relationships too have different aspects. Mainly, the good and the bad. Out of the
many benefits one of them being When one gets into a problem, the people he
relates well with are mostly willing to give him a helping hand. For instance, your
when you are not doing well, financially, mentally or physically, your family and
friends are the ones who come to your mind first. And for instance, the bad ones
could be, that one may know a friend for a very long time as a trustworthy person
but the friend may betray him one day for one reason or the other. Maintenance
of good relationships between and among people costs a lot of sacrifice. This is
because nobody is perfect and thus to maintain a good relationship with other
people, there has to be compromises. So, in the above-mentioned situation, a wise
person will talk to his friend and seek to know the reason for the act of betrayal.
Depending on the answer that the friend gives, the former is supposed to make a
compromise and have serious dialogue with his/her friend to ensure that such an
act will not be repeated.
HOW ARE GOOD RELATIONSHIPS BUILT?

Having a relationship is very important in everyone’s life. To stay happy, share your
feelings, feel loved, have a connection, and know yourself in a better manner you
need to have a relationship. Love and trust are such emotions that are most
profound in humans. Or having a good and healthy relationship, the person needs
to focus on the basic four attributes. They are communication, trust, respect, and
love. For any relationship to flourish and sustain, one needs to have the four pillars
incorporated in the deep roots of the relationship. There are many factors that
contribute to a satisfying relationship such as; Love, Commitment, Trust, Time,
Attention, Good Communication including Listening, Partnership, Tolerance,
Patience, Openness, Honesty, Respect, Sharing, Consideration, Generosity,
Willingness to Compromise, In the
absence of communication, the
relationship fails due to mistrust
and doubts. Every relationship
starts when two people
communicate. Having a healthy
communication is important to
share problems and find a solution
for them.

Secondly, trust is the foundation of

any relationship. Every relationship
starting right from family or
friends, if the trust is void, then the
relationship is bound to end or fall.
The following four areas of
closeness can help guide a person
in assessing how their relationship
is they are and can also guide him in how to become closer and improve their
relationship when difficulties arise,

AREAS OF CLOSENESS
Doing things Together
Physical Closeness
Sexual Closeness
Emotional Closeness
UNHEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS
There is a wise saying out there that states ninety per cent of our happiness or
misery depends on whom we decide to stay with. While every relationship goes
through ups and downs, a toxic relationship is consistently unpleasant and draining
for the people in it, to the point that negative moments outweigh and outnumber
the positive ones When you build up a relationship there is no guarantee that it will
be a good one or a bad one. Afterall, some people come in your life to teach you
things you wouldn’t have learnt otherwise. Some relationships aren’t as beneficial
as others, or in some cases may even harm
you physically as well as mentally. Most, bad
or toxic relationships start in the most perfect
way ever, they seem to be something out of
a fairytale. And they slowly reveal their ugly
colours as there are built on the foundations
of infatuation or the otherwise popular love-
at-first sight. With time infatuation wears out
and the once perfect relationship turns into
an abusive, humiliating, ignorant mess and
becomes a living nightmare. And it’s too late
by the time one realizes and understands what his relationship has turned into, its

even tougher to save such a relationship since it’s too late, which have driven
divorce rates to an all-time high. Not appreciating enough too harms a relationship
in ways that aren’t imaginable

The other bad aspect of building up a relationship is that, the good ones come to
an end, sooner than one would ever expect and they end even before one could
get a chance of appreciating them.
CONCLUSION
Every person forms relationships, after all its natural human behaviour and every
human craves for love and care. Some relationships are everything a person can
ask for, and some are his living nightmare, not all relationships are equal. A
relationship should be your source of happiness and something that you are happy
to have, it shouldn’t be a source of trouble and torture, its best to get rid of such a
relationship before it’s too late. As complicated relationships may sound, they are
just as beautiful when built with the right person. Eventually, everything comes to
an end, good or bad. So, till it lasts, make memories, learn lessons, cherish every
moment of it. And never take the one who truly cares and loves you for granted.
