INTRODUCTION :
● The use of plastic has grown extensively in recent year all over
the world.
● It is easily available and can be molded into any shape but
plastic is non- biodegradable it causes pollution and create
difficulties in managing even for a wealthy nation.
● The plastic waste is hazardous problem in today's world .
● This is most dangerous problem in front of humanity.
● Nowadays, the large amount of plastic is deposited into
sea. This plastic wastes gives hazardous effect on the aquatic
life and quality of seawater also polluted by this plastic.
● So, we try to finding efficient way to solve this problem of plastic
waste.
● So, we added this plastic wastes into the bricks and create the
bricks by using plastic wastes.
● It is most economical solution present in the construction
industry and it is also economical and environment friendly
solution of the plastic waste .
LITERATURE REVIEW :
1. Aman Kumar, Mainak Biswas, Debarshi Nath (2020) – Presented research works deals with the manufacturing and
analysis of bricks made with waste plastic and fine aggregates.
2. AUTHOR – Kishan , Rahul Kashyap, Rohan Tyagi (2018) – presented the brick have more strength than normal brick
having light weight which can give further benefits to sustainable structures.
3. P. Hareharan , J. Nageshwaran, S. Nandhini, R. Sathyamoorthy (2020) - To check the properties of bricks takes the
various tests on brick and concluded that in comparison with conventional bricks ,strength of plastic sand bricks is
high .
4. Siti Nabilah Amir, Nur Zulaikha Yusof (2018) - Presented the suitable proportion between plastic waste and other
materials used to need to be optimized to meet the standard outlined for manufacturing of bricks .Further research
and development is needed to improve quality and durability of plastic bricks.
5. Shikhar Shrimali (2017) – Presented the effective way of utilizing the soft plastic waste and recycling it into plastic
bricks which are very light in weight and can withstand high amount of pressure as compared to standard modular
bricks .
