  Subject: - Invitation for Questions for Fellowship Part – I Examination.

  Dear Sir/Madam,
 

The Examination Committee of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons decided/

suggested to invite the questions round the year. As per that decision the undersigned is
requesting you to submit questions as per schedule mentioned herewith. Your questions with the
answer keys should reach this office for January session within 22-09-2022 and for
July session within 31-10-2022  at the latest.

Examination Department of  BCPS requests your kind services in preparing questions for the
 

FCPS Part – I in the subject of Medicine  (Paper-I) topic : ( Neurology/

Hepatology/Gastroenterology/ Genetics)

We shall be pleased if you would kindly send (5 MCQ + 5 SBA =10) ten questions for above
 

topic according to the described format. The pattern of the questions shall be MCQ multiple
true-false type with five response options (5) and single best answer type with five response
options (5). The question should cover all sub-topics of the above with a bias to your specialty.
The correct answer for each response options is to be indicated on the body of the manuscript.
Please do NOT use separate sheet for providing the answers. All options should be homogenous
and in alphabetically order.

Erb’s palsy is characterized by loss of power to:

F  a) abduct the arm at shoulder

T  b) adduct the thumb

T  c) extend the forearm at elbow

T  d) grasp the object by hand

Example of Single Best Answer (SBA):

Lead In: Which is the single most important laboratory test used to determine the
 

virulence?

Options:

a)      catalase test

b)      detection of coagulase

c)      detection of penicillinase

d)      hemolysis of blood agar media

e)      mannitol formation
