Sports Administration
Sports Administration is a job that is just right up my alley. The job involves one of my favorite

things in the world, which is sports. The whole job is involved in sports, but the job also requires

knowledge in the business side of the world. So, Sport Administration is what you don’t see when you

watch sports on TV. It’s the work behind the performance, it’s the balance that keeps sports moving and

running smoothly.

To get a job in Sports Administration you must be required to have a bachelor’s degree in

Interdisciplinary Studies Concentration. This degree will allow you to be in the more managerial

positions of the sports industry. To achieve this degree, it will require at least 4 years to

complete. There are many different certifications that can help you get a better and higher paying

job. Some of these certifications are Certificate in Sports Analytics, Certificate in Sports Law,

and Certificate in Risk Management.

I will be attending the University of Miami for schooling. The school offers my degree

and has good internship opportunities that will help me make more money once I get out of

college. Some of the core classes and general prerequisites required to pursue a sports

management degree include principles of management, economics, financial accounting, algebra,

general psychology, physical or biological science as well. The total cost of my entire 4 years

without any scholarship money or grants is $210,200.
