work depends on the usage of this PPE’s, it must be
adequately replaced whenever it gets worn
out to curb probable burning of the hand by
the welding flame.
6 Hand gloves for iron 7 (seven) days To be issued to iron benders and scaffolders
works and any other iron work operation
7 Hand gloves for 7 (seven) days To be issued to personnel involved in any
carpenters wood work to curb hand injury
8 Rubber hand glove 7 (seven) days To be issued to personnel involved in any
cement work, chemical handling and etc
9 Welding shade No limit To be issued to welders. The replacement
depends on the usage of this PPE’s, it must be
adequately replaced whenever it gets worn-
out to curb potential eye injury
10 Eye protection 2 (two) months To be issued to personnel involved in any
cutting work, grinding work and any other
works that have the potential to cause eye
injury.
11 Ear protection 21 (twenty-one To be issued to personnel involved in any noisy
days) days and vibration work
12 Clinical nose mask No limit To guide against dust, welding and grinding
fumes, chemical odor and also serve as
protection against Covid-19 disease. The
replacement depends on the usage and
weakness of the PPE’s.
13 Respiratory nose mask No limit To guide against dust, welding and grinding
fumes, chemical odor etc. to be issued to
personnel to curb the aforementioned in poor
ventilated area. The replacement depends on
the usage of the PPE’s and the weakness of
the air filter section.
14 Safety belt 1 (one) year To be issued to personnel involved in any
construction work at height
15 Rain boot – 1 1 (one) year To be issued to regular personnel involved in
any construction work in wet area. Provision
for borrow and return will also be made for
personnel frequently executing task in wet
area to ensure the enforcement of task
required PPE’s. the concerned supervisor will
be the custodian of the borrow and return
PPE’s.
16 Rain boot – 2 2 (two) months Only to be issued to personnel involved in any
cement work.
To ensure replacement of PPE’s, the worn-out PPE’s must be presented to the person in charge of
issuing PPE’s.
Cost (fine) will be attached if the stipulated period has not elapse and the fine goes as follows;-
