Statue 1.

FADE IN:

1 INT. HOME - DAY 1

A number of carton boxes are spread all around the house. The
packers and movers guys are going in and out of the house.
Arjun is talking with his mom on phone in the hall.
ARJUN
Haan maa sab pack liya hain. Haan... Kuch hota hain to main
aapko batata hoon. Ab yahan aake kya karoge sab packing-
vagera ho gaya hain, main bhi nikal hi raha hoon kuch der
mein. Aur vaise bhi naye Ghar ka address bhej diya hain
aapko, seedha vahi aa jaao. Are yaar...aap itna kyun tension
le rahi ho, bola na maine aapko kuch nahi hoga, Theekh hain
chalo main aapko kuch der me call karta hoon.
Saying this Arjun cuts the call, and pours a glass of water
from the water from the water dispenser.
RAKESH (O.C.)
Arjun bhai...?
Rakesh, one of the packer and mover guy shouts from the hall.
ARJUN
Haan.
RAKESH
Are kidher ho bhai?
ARJUN
Aaya 1 min.
Arjun moves towards the hall. Rakesh is busy in his phone.
ARJUN
Haan bolo, kya hua ?
RAKESH
Main kya keh raha tha ki abhi sab
ladke log lunch karne jaa rahe the,
to baaki ki kaam aake karenge
chalega na?
ARJUN
Haan....haan. Chalega.

 Statue 2.

Chalega na. Vaise bhi zyada kuch

bacha nahi hain...to time bhi utna
nahi lagega.
As Rakesh was saying, Arjun's phone rings and he excuses
himself. Rakesh leaves. Arjun answers the phone.
ARJUN (ON CALL)
Haan bhai bolo. Haan...Thank you,
thank you. Are bas sab aap logon ki
kripa hai. (laughs)
While on the call, Arjun is going from room to room checking
if anything is left to pack. The conversation continues on
the call, and he reaches the bedroom.
ARJUN
Are zaroor...zaroor, kyun nahi. Aap
bhi kabhi time nikal ke aaya karo.
Aap bas next week next week hi karte
rehte ho. Haan... Chalo theekh hain
milte hain baad me. Theekh hain ?
Rakhta hoon. Bye.
In the bedroom, there is a small flap in one corner of the
ceiling. Arjun sees a statue on that. He takes a chair and
climbs to get it. With some effort, he is able to get the
statue. He climbs down from the chair.
As he was leaving, he trips over something and the statue
falls from his hand, hitting the ground and breaking into a
thousand pieces.
Arjun (facepalms) & looks at the broken pieces. A little
frustrated. Soon after, he puts the debris aside towards the
wall, with his bare hands and moves towards the main door.

Wearing his slippers, he has a ONE LAST LOOK at his house.

As he gets to the handle of the door, to his surprise it's
not opening.
(SUSPENSE MUSIC STARTS)
He tries again & again & then again but still all the same.
He bangs on the door. He shouts, but NO RESPONSE! as if
nobody can hear him only. With time his shouting fades into
nothingness and the music stops.

2 INT. HOME - MOMENTS LATER 2

We see some stills of the house. A wind chime in the balcony.
Arjun is sitting near the door all tired and worn out.

 Statue 3.

We hear clanking of keys, and the locks of the door opening.

Rakesh walks through the door.

RAKESH
Are bhai ye chabhi kisne bahar gira
diya tha ? Kho jayegi to bahut
problem ho jayega. Pata hai na ye
owners log kitne zik-zik karte hain.
Arjun bhai?

He gets no response.

RAKESH
Arjun bhai??

He could find no-one in the hall or the other rooms. So he

tries calling him. The phone rings in the hall and as Rakesh
moves closer and closer towards the phone; the sound
increases.

Rakes hovers over the location of the phone, which was behind
a few carton boxes and finds the phone.

BUT....the statue is also there. All in one PIECE.
