Busy as a Bee!
Mrs Pearce is a very busy woman. After her family leaves the house in the morning, she starts doing her chores.
First, she makes everyone’s bed and then she goes to the kitchen and does the washing-up. After that, she
prepares a tasty lunch for her family. When everyone returns home, she lays the table and serves lunch. Her son,
Adam, does martial arts and her daughter, Karen, plays basketball in a team, so in the afternoon, Mrs Pearce takes
them to practice. After she comes back, Mrs Pearce has a short rest. In the evenings, she helps the children with
their homework and then she gets ready to cook dinner. She sometimes likes surfing the Net to find new recipes to
cook for her family. After dinner, she sits down and chats with her husband before she goes to bed to rest before
another busy day begins.
