Introductions:
All citizens must have a right in quality education at all levels, because all people have
freedom to learn even you are disable and already old.

The main source of the Philippines Education Jurisprudence is


the:
Constitution
the basic principles and laws of a nation, state, or social group that determine the powers and
duties of the government and guarantee certain rights to the people in it

Constitutional Education
The state shall provide free compulsory education to all children of age (6-14) years old in
such manner state may, by the law determine.
This is the “Lower education” or “Public education” giving for the (6-14) years old from
elementary to high school this is the public education given to every child.

Article XIV of the republic of the Philippines constitution


Section 1. The State shall protect and promote the right of all citizens to quality education at
all levels and shall take appropriate steps to make such education accessible to all.
the constitution must support every educational system should provide free education to all
students.

Statutes “Acts” (Republic act 10533)


An act that enhances the Philippines basic education system by strengthening its curriculum
and increase the number of years for basic education, appropriating funds therefor and other
purposes. Known as Enhanced basic “Education Act of (2013)”

(Republic Act 7877)


An act declaring sexual harassment ad unlawfulness in the employment, education, or
training environment and for other purposes.
This act protect all the student or employee and you experienced some malicious activity in

Education act of 1982


This was an act providing for the establishment and maintenance of an integrated system of
education. In accordance with Section 2, this act shall apply to and govern both formal and
non- formal system in public and private schools in all levels of the entire educational system.

Case or Law Jurisprudence


Case law pertains to the law that came straight from court decision. It is consisting
particularly od judicial interpretation of Constitution, a statute, for the common law, it is
including Supreme Court and Lower Court decisions.

All educational institutions shall be under the supervision of the subject to regulation by the
State. The Government shall establish and maintain a complete and adequate system of public
education, and shall provide at least free public primary instruction, and citizenship training
to adult citizens. All schools shall aim to develop moral character, personal discipline, civic
conscience, and vocational efficiency, and to teach the duties of citizenship. Optional
religious instruction shall be maintained in the public schools as now authorized by law.
Universities established by the State shall enjoy academic freedom. The State shall create
scholarships in arts, science, and letters for specially gifted citizen.

Article 14 section2
Section 2. The State shall:
(1) Establish, maintain, and support a complete, adequate, and integrated system of education
relevant to the needs of the people and society.

(2) Establish and maintain a system of free public education in the elementary and high
school levels. Without limiting the natural right of parents to rear their children, elementary
education is compulsory for all children of school age.
(3) Establish and maintain a system of scholarship grants, student loan programs, subsidies,
and other incentives which shall be available to deserving students in both public and private
schools, especially to the underprivileged.

(4) Encourage non-formal, informal, and indigenous learning systems, as well as self-
learning, independent, and out-of-school study programs particularly those that respond to
community needs; and

(5) Provide adult citizens, the disabled, and out-of-school youth with training in civics,
vocational efficiency, and other skills.

Regulatory law

Educational Law
Educational law encompasses laws and regulation governing school systems and student’s
rights movements. It deals with law and regulations that govern federal and state school,
school board and school system as well.

Educational law deal to developed as a legal specialization to ensure all student faculty and
staff within an educational system are treated fairly and their civil rights are not
compromised.

The education act of (1982) / public act no. 232


Section 2: This was an act providing for the establishment and maintenance of an integrated
system of education. In accordance with Section 2, this act shall apply to and govern both
formal and non- formal system in public and private schools in all levels of the entire
educational system.

Education act of (1994) / public act no. 7722


This Act shall be known as the "Higher Education Act of 1994“
Section 2. Declaration of Policy. - The State shall protect, foster, and promote the right of all
citizens to affordable quality education at all levels and shall take appropriate steps to ensure
that education shall be accessible to all.
