The RSBSA serves as a requirement and basis for providing financial
assistance, subsidiary funding and insurance services for farmers and fisherfolks

3. PHILIPPINE CROP INSURANCE CORPORATION (PCIC)


INSURANCE POLICY ASSISTANCE

The PCIC also provides protection against damage to/loss of non-crop


agricultural assets including but not limited to machineries, equipment’s, transport
facilities and other related infrastructures due to peril/s insured against. Philippines is
vulnerable to natural disasters which cause devastation on crops and miseries to
agricultural producers and lenders of agricultural credit. The Agriculture Office serves
as the underwriter and facilitator in the availment of the program at the LGU level.

4. DISTRIBUTION OF RICE, CORN AND VEGETABLE SEEDS


The Municipal Agriculture office is responsible for the distribution of free
palay and vegetable seeds which are locally funded or source out from partner
agencies like the Department of Agriculture. For Palay Seeds, normally, the
distribution will be conducted at the barangay level but walk-in clients can also be
accommodated at the Municipal Agriculture Office.

8. ARTIFICIAL INSEMINATION FOR SWINE
The Municipal Agriculture Office is maintaining a Municipal Breeding Center
for the genetic improvement program for backyard hog raisers. No monetary fees are
involved during the execution of the service. But when the served animal
successfully produced offspring, repayment in kind is required to cover operating
expenses of the breeding center.

REGISTRATION
The National Program BoatR aims to assist local government unit (LGU) to
fast-track enhance and complete the municipal registration of municipal fishing
