Sabirmala Verdict and Freedom of

Religion

1990-A request was documented in the Kerala High Court by S Mahendran looking for a
prohibition on section of ladies inside the Sabarimala sanctuary.

1991-In a judgment on August 05, 1991, the Kerala High Court had maintained the limitation

started the meeting over the issue. On September 28, the summit court in 4:1 judgment had
permitted section of ladies inside the sanctuary. Following the judgment, a few occurrences
of conflicts occurred between the protestors and the police. Be that as it may, significantly
