Blue Yonder Airlines is sponsoring a contest that is open to all Graphic Design
Institute students.

Blue Yonder Airline is looking to decorate their newly renovated corporate offices and have
come to Graphic Design Institute for help. They are looking for an art installation to hang in their
lobby.

The Dirty Details

The requirements are easy. You can use any media, as long as the final piece can be hung on a
wall. Requirements are:
 At least 5 feet and no more than I2 feet in width.
 At least 4 feet and no more than 7 feet in height.
 Piece must have an aeronautic theme.
Pieces will be displayed in the Gottner Gallery. Representatives from Blue Yonder Airlines will
be visiting the campus to make the final selections. Remaining pieces will be offered for sale to
the public, at the artist's option. All sales proceeds go to the artist. To enter, simply show up at
Gotmer Gallery on December I" with your finished piece, ready for installation.

The Prize
Three winners will be selected by Blue Yonder Airlines.
 First place receives one year's free tuition at Graphic Design Institute.
 Second place receives $1000 credit for books and supplies.
 Third place receives S500 credit for books and supplies.
 All submissions will be featured in the Blue Yonder Airlines newsletter.
Students scheduled to graduate will receive a cash equivalent to the prizes offered. All winning
pieces become the property of, and all rights revert to, Blue Yonder Airlines. This includes the
right to reproduce and reuse the image in other media, including print and online. If the image is
published in any media, the artist will be identified and credited.

Task 1: Apply the Pencil Grayscale art effect to the picture near the top of the page.
Task 2: Set the line spacing to 1.15 lines for the entire document.
