Subject: Tablet Contract Update: Revised Costs

This is regarding the recent update related to tablet contract costs received from our
contractor.
As per the new change instead of a final one-time expense, they have changed the fee
structure to a subscription-based service. This subscription-based service includes hardware,
software, support, customization, POS integration, and more as part of a monthly flat rate. As
per my opinion, it’s a much better service for us, but it does change the price point.

This fee structure will help us keep expenses low and our budget precise, for example
instead of $200 per tablet for the 40 tablets we need, the subscription that matches our needs
would be $300 a month and would cover all 40 tablets, the software, 24/7 support,
customization—everything. So instead of $8000 for using all the tablets in the first year, it will
cost us only $3,600, including support.

Your guidance and effective decisioning has always helped our firm succeed. Can you please
provide the executive decision on the contract update.
