construction of public toilets, the construction of recreational parks, the construction

Contributing In The Needs Of Learning Religious Knowledge, contributions in the

needs of learning religious knowledge also belong to the types of alms favored by
Allah S.W.T. Among the necessities that can be donated are clothes, sports
equipment, religious books, computers and more. To make matters worse, you can
donate all the necessities needed by the tahfiz center near where you live. Every time
they use it, you will be rewarded.

Endowing Vehicles For Public Use, endowing vehicles such as ambulances, hearse
vans, vans for tahfiz, orphan vans and so on are also included in the types of alms that
Allah S.W.T. This vehicle can facilitate the movement of those in need. For example,
a hearse can be used to carry the remains for burial.

Endowing Land for the Use of Muslims, land is a necessity that is very important for
the development of Muslims in our country. Land can be used in various uses for
gardening, raising animals, building orphanages, building mosques and so on.
Endowing land also belongs to the types of charity favored by Allah S.W.T. without
us realizing it and the rewards are enormous.

Endowing the Al-Quran, In addition, endowing the Al-Quran is also categorized as

the types of alms favored by Allah S.W.T. and the process is very easy to do. The cost
is not too expensive and it is very suitable to be endowed in a place that has a shortage
of Al-Quran manuscripts. The reward will always flow even when we are dead.
MANNERS WHEN GIVING SADAQAH

Sincerity when sadaqah, The key to sadaqah is sincerity. People who like to give
sadaqah are not only liked by human beings, but ALLAH also likes someone who
gives sadaqah sincerely in order to obtain pleasure from Him. Sadaqah for showing
off and being proud of it will causes loss in the hereafter. Sadaqah according to their
ability because Allah does not look at the value of the sadaqah and instead of giving
in a state of compulsion, coercion or want praise and known by humans because it is a
loss if we have a ripple nature that can ruin the reward of your sadaqah practice.

In addition, prioritize the obligatory sadaqah, Allah will not accept the practices of
the sunnah until His servants perform the obligatory deeds. The practice that God
likes to draw closer to Him is by fulfilling his obligations. A Muslim is obliged to pay
zakat when the time comes. Pay zakat first because it is included in the pillars of
Islam.

Next, sadaqah with halal property. The intention to give sadaqah is there but you
need to make sure that the property you want to donate is halal because it is one of the
reasons why alms is accepted by Allah and bears fruit like a tree with thick leaves and
produces many fruits. Allah forbids us to give alms for things that are not good or
haram, syubhah. Unlike usury that will be destroyed, lose its blessings and drag its
owner to hell.

In addition, do not leverage about the sadaqah donated, Do not be reminded of past
items or things. Whatever form of help and sadaqah that has been given, the story
should never be brought back to life. Rewards earned will be automatically wiped out
if leveraging items that have been donated whether consciously or not.

Lastly, give sadaqah to the next of kin, help each other when they need it and do not
be stingy, instead of cursing and telling them. Help the brothers and sisters who are
difficult according to their ability because the friendship with the siblings has been
established since childhood, so strengthen the brotherhood of that friendship.
DALIL RELATING TO SADAQAH
ADVANTAGES OF SADAQAH

Sadaqah Eases Hardships and Removes Calamities :

As Muslims we believe that this life is a test and one way of being tested is with
hardships. Allah (swt) gives is trials to test our faith in him. Giving Sadaqah during a
time of hardship shows strong Iman and gratitude to Allah (swt) and It is only Allah
(swt) with his infinite mercy that can change a person’s situations. Allah (swt) says in
the Holy Quran: “Allah removes what He wishes and establishes what He wishes, for
He has the Mother of Books.

Sadaqah is an Investment in This Life and Hereafter:

A return on investment isn’t something you would normally associate with spending
money on charitable causes however Allah (swt) promises us that he will increase our
wealth, sustenance and bring us success in this life and in the hereafter when we give
Sadaqah.

Sadaqah Expiates Sins:

On the Day of Judgement, we will all be held to account for every sin we have
committed major and minor. No matter how hard we try, we are only human, and
sinning is inevitable. That is why it is important for us to give Sadaqah regularly to
expiate our sins.

Sadaqah is One of the Gates of Jannah:

Baab As-Sadaqah is one of the 8 gates of Jannah. This door only allows those
believers to enter who were charitable and gave Sadaqah in the way of Allah, whether
to their parents, orphans, widows, the sick and the needy. Giving Sadaqah gives you
the virtue of entering paradise through this gate.
