1. Pupils look at the words “spacecraft, satellite, planet, Mars” on the board with all the lettes removed apart

2. Pupils are told tp write the missing letters.
LESSON 3. Pupils turn to Pulse 2 page 53 and read the 5 topics.
DEVELOPMENT 4. Pupils predict which predictions are about travel and transport/medicine/entertainment/eating/education.
5. Pupils check their answers by reading the text.
6. A few pupils are chosen to read the text about 6 amazing predicions for the future.
7. Pupils answer 6 comprehension questions.
8. Pupils compare answers in pairs and later check as a class.
9. Pupils proceed to Activity 3 and read the example sentence.

10. Pupils work in pairs to discuss whether they disagree with any of the predictions in the article and state at
least 1 reason.
11. Pupils discuss answers as a class.
12. Pupils remain with their partners and discuss the following question:
POST-LESSON - Do you think the future will be better than the present? Why or why not?
13. A few pairs share their discussion with the class.
