Starting June 1, we will implement the following change to our annual leave policy: each year,
one employee from each department will be awarded special annual bonus leave for exceptional
achievement.
On June 10, qualified employees will receive an additional ten (10) days of annual leave.
Regardless of any other limitation on the total number of days of annual leave that may be
carried forward, the bonus leave will be accounted for separately and will remain available until
used.
On May 30th, at 10:00 a.m., we will meet to discuss the results of the 2006 performance
evaluation and to approve the final list of employees eligible for the bonus. The meeting will be
followed by an announcement to the workforce. Please let me know if you have any questions or
comments before the meeting.
