Name Transfer Application Help:

Dear Consumer,

The Online Name Transfer Application is simple and is only meant for change of name with load
remaining unchanged / less than the existing load.

 Kindly enter the Consumer No. stated in the current paid Electricity Bill to make this online
application. Remember to enter the Consumer No. & not the Customer ID.
 To use our Online Service we would require your Email ID and Mobile No. to communicate
with you.
 If the Registered Consumer’s Status is ‘Alive’, you would need to fill Annexure A1 &
Annexure A2 Forms.
 In case the Registered Consumer’s Status is ‘Deceased’, the applicant would need to fill the
Annexure A1 Form and a declaration in the form of Annexure A3.
 The following will be required to be entered as the case maybe:

 Applicant’s Unique Identification No. in Voter ID Card / Aadhaar Card / Passport / Driving
License.
 Witness 1’s Unique Identification No. in Voter ID Card / Aadhaar Card / Passport /
Driving License.
 Witness 2’s Unique Identification No. in Voter ID Card / Aadhaar Card / Passport / Driving
License.
 In case of a Commercial Supply, the Unique Identification No. in the Current Trade
License issued by KMC/ Municipal Authority.
 In case of an Industrial Supply, the Clearance No. in the Clearance Certificate issued by
West Bengal Pollution Control Board.
 In case of a Government Allotted Flat, the Allotment Reference No. stated in the
Allotment Letter to be provided. In such cases Annexure A2 would not be required to be
filled up by the Applicant.

 On entering the Consumer No. and Clicking on the Submit button the Disclaimer would be
presented to you. Kindly read the Disclaimer properly before ticking the I Agree to The
Terms & Conditions Tick Box.
 On proceeding, the Annexure A1 Form would be displayed which would need to be filled with
the details as asked.
 Remember the Proposed Load (in kW) cannot exceed the Existing Load (in kW).
 Kindly note that, the current bill is paid.
 Change of name will be effected upon payment of the Security Deposit Bill.

between 9 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Friday and between 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays,
