    (b) Asia. The Arabian desert in the Middle East and the
    Thar Desert of India and Pakistan are the main hot
    deserts.
    However in Central Asia, a vast area is covered by cold deserts
    where both the temperature and rainfall are low. These include
    Gobi and Turkistan Deserts.
    Wind causes erosion in desert areas in the following Three ways:
    Dome shaped inselberg (granite)

    Pyramid like inselberg with cap of hard rock

    South Africa, Nigeria, Uganda, Algeria, Mozambique etc.
