Pre-lesson
1.Stick the flashcards of occupations on the board .
2.Ask students to guess and name the occupations as revision .
3.Tell the students they will listen to and read the story again with the title What do you want to be ?

4.Play the CD and encourage the students to point to each frame in their books.
ACTIVITIES 5.Check again students’ predictions.
6.Play the CD again and ask students to point to each speech bubble and follow along .
7.Play the CD again and invite students to shadow reading.
8.After reading , ask students some comprehension questions.

7. Draw students’ attention to the value and read it aloud.

1. Play Hot card pantomime with the word cards of different everyday activities . ( TB page 33 )
Lesson delivery

2.Direct students attention to the pictures of the children and encourage them to say the everyday activities depicted in the pictures.
3.Explain to students that they will listen to six enchanges and that they will have in circle Yes or No according to whether the everday
activities mentioned correspond to the pictures or not.
4.Play the CD pausing after each exchange so that students may have the time to circle the correct answer .
5.Play the CD again and have students check their answers.
6.Have students check their answers in pairs first , then check as a class.
Activity 2
7.After that , direct students’ attention to the picture and ask students to name the occupations.
8.Explain to students that they will have to look at the picture, read the text and complete it with the correct form of the verbs.
9.Have students compare their answers in pairs first , then check as a class.
Post-lesson
10.Play the song Mike’s day ( Track 20 ) and have students mime the everyday activities mentioned in the song as they sing along.
