1.

How did the two rival of factions of Katipunan-Magdalo and

Magdiwang-come about?
Answer: There were two factions, the Magdiwang (Bonifacio) and the
Magdalo (Aguinaldo). They fought over territorial lands which lead them in
not being a good terms. However, the Spanish forces were winning in
some places and so a meeting presided to tackle about what they're
fighting over (territories, land and etc) and also both parties agreed to
form a revolution to put an end to the reigning Spanish forces, that's how
the katipunan came about.

2. Who were the sources of the historical accounts? What were their roles
in the katipunan?
Answer: There were 3 sources of the historical accounts. First was Artemio
Ricarte's Account, he was the secretary during the tejeros assembly and
was then elected as the Captain-General of the revotionary Government.
The second account was by Andres Bonifacio, the leader of the Magdiwang
(Supremo) and was elected as leader of the interior of the new
revolutionary Government. The third account was by Santiago Alvarez, a
member of the magdiwang movement, a direct member and a participant
during the tejeros assembly.

3. Why does Andres Bonifacio declare the results as null and void?
Answer: Before the election converge there was a confidential information
that Don Daniel Tirona of Magdalo had a plan to undermine the
proceedings and had already spoke secretly to some leaders to ally with
him. That's why most of the elected officials were form the Magdalo
faction. Andres Bonifacio who knows this, had called this meeting null and
voided because it was under selfish occurrence and he was even
humiliated after being elected Director of Interior.

4. What are the similarities and diffirences among the three accounts?
Answer: In my own opinion the accounts varies in their own point of view,
some were detailed and some were not but they are mostly similar on how
the assembly went about and also to the different accounts made the
whole scene much clearer and much more closer to may be the reality of
what happened.

5. How can the 3 accounts contribute to understanding of the first

Philippine Republic ?
Answer: The three accounts made me understood what happened during
the Tejeros assembly. Why Bonifacio called the election null and void. It
made me realized that even in the first Philippine republic, foul
occurrences are already happening. Biased members and leaders are
already there, even in this present time. Although they have succeeded it
could have been much better if they went as one. And that is only one
thing I could only hope for, that there be no more undermining
occurrences in our country.
