INTRODUCTION:
In Pakistan, Bareeze was one of the first brand introduce by private limited company
known as SEFAM. In 1985 SEFAM was establish by Seema Aziz and her brother Hamid
Zaman. They introduce their first brand known as Bareeze. Their aim was to manufacture and
retailing the quality embroidered fabrics. They introduce designer clothing and revolutionized
shopping for the Pakistani woman about 28 years ago. At that time, the idea of designer wear
was still repining. Seema Aziz introduced embellished fabrics to the market, with a simple
concept to sell high quality cotton. Now-a-days, Bareeze is the most successful brand in Pakistan
and they have a family of 13 brands. Which are as follow

Who is Seema Aziz?
Seema Aziz was born in 1950. She can be easily named as one of the top leading
women of Pakistan. She is a Pakistani Businesswomen, entrepreneur and a social activist. She is
the founder and managing director of Sefam (Bareeze) and the founder of CARE
FOUNDATION which is the Pakistan’s largest educational, non-profitable organization.
She completed her studies from college of HOME ECONOMICS, she completed her bachelors
from UNIVERSITY OF PUNJAB, and then went to get her LLB degree from same institute, then
she also completed her executive educational program from HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL,
Boston, USA.
HISTORY:
Bareeze was the project of Seema Aziz for more than 28 years. In 1985 Seema Aziz and
her brother Hamid Zaman lead their parent, private limited business named as SEFAM and co-
founded their first brand named as Bareeze. They bought two embroidery machines from abroad
and started their business with aim to create a high-quality embroidery fabric. At the time, the
concept of locally made quality fashion product did not exist. There was no Pakistani brand
creating export quality fabric. All the best marketers, only sold foreign fabrics (also known as
Japanese fabrics). At that point, she introduced their brand.
In the beginning their first store was in Shadman market, Lahore. Their establishment set up was
on the basis of a single building consisting of 8-10 employs and 3-4 stitchers.

CHALLENGES:
In a Pakistan with never ending gender gap and disparity, we came across many
women who have made a name for themselves through determination and create the world, they
believe in. Seema Aziz was one of them.
She was lucky enough to receive a high- quality education but there was no concept of women,
to be a Businesswomen in her family although, she had supportive parents. In those days
starting a business was not a mainstream concept.
Bareeze faced several challenges in its established process including creating a better fabric,
tweaking the machines to get the optimal results and getting the fabric dyed perfectly. Also, the
company’s initial investment came from its pockets which was negligible.
MISSION STATEMENT:
“Commitment to quality innovation and quest for creating classic,
timeless and desirable products.”
HIERACHY:
Initially, Bareeze was a partnership business between Seema Aziz and her brother
Hamid Zaman but now sole ownership of Bareeze brand belongs to Seema Aziz, so management
comprises of:

● Production head
● Production manager
Bareeze consists of more than 5000 employs working at Bareeze. Zain Aziz, son of Seema Aziz
has now carried on legacy of his mother’s empire
PRODUCTION PROCESS:
The production of Bareeze is carried by three companies SEFAM
(PVT)Ltd, Sarena Industries & Embroidery Mills and Ali Embroidery Mills. Both Sefam and
Sarena Industries conducts dyeing and finishing along with embroidery and Ali embroidery mills
process state of the computerized art. So, the entire work force of companies including the
designers and the directors take pride in the products and ensure that Bareeze fabrics are not
only fabulously fashioned but also exquisitely detailed and carefully finished making each
design, a masterpiece and inspirational work for clients.

MARKETING MIX
PRODUCT:
Bareeze products has different varieties, designs, brands, colors, sizes, packing and
different brand name. They provide the facility of exchanging, the product within 45 days of
purchasing. Their products are available in cotton, silk, chiffon, swiss lawn, chikan etc.
PRICING:
Bareeze enjoys the success and market share, because quality of products, customers
pay the price whatever they set on their products. Customers of bareeze are very loyal and
quality conscious. Customers cannot comprise on quality.
PLACE:
Bareeze uses different channels for distribution of products either physical stores or
online websites. They open their stores in different cities of Pakistan. Bareeze also serves
internationally.
PROMOTION:
They are using social media, youtube, websites, billboards and posters for their
promotion. They publish magazines in every season like summer, winter, party and bridal
dresses collection. Bareeze also hire celebrities for advertising of their clothes.
OBJECTIVES:
Seema Aziz is also a social activist who has been working for cause of the
education in Pakistan since 1988. She is the founder and chairperson of CARE
FOUNDATION. It is also known as the non-profitable organization of Pakistan, educating
more than 275000 students through 900 schools. CARE foundation is receiving donation from
all over the world.
The human objectives include the well-being of the employs, social and psychological
satisfaction of employees and development of human resources. The employees of Bareeze is
surrounded by good working environment. Bareeze Company provides healthy working
environment for their employees. Speaking of recent accounts during the covid-19 pandemic
many companies had shortlisted their employees, but with Bareeze that wasn’t the case.
The national objectives of a business include creating opportunities for gaining employment of
people, Bareeze provide people a good opportunities, jobs and facilities. Bareeze pay their taxes
timely and exports good quality of fabric thus creating a name for themselves and the country.
CONCLUSION:
Bareeze is the one of the oldest brand. But still, it is emerging their existence by their
quality, policies, and determination. Their main focus is to maintain their quality and culture.
