SEWING EMBROIDERED PILLOW Sewing Instructions

1. Begin with linen cut to 18" (46 cm) square and
center embroidery templates as shown in the
video. Front will be trimmed to 17" (43 cm) square
before sewing, so keep all embroidery towards
center of pillow.
2. Embroider the pillow front. Press and finish as
shown in the video. Trim pillow front to a 17" (43
cm) square.
3. Hem back panels as follows. Fold and press ¼" (6
mm) along one 17" (43 cm) length of each panel,
then fold ½" (13mm) under and press again. Sew
along the pressed edge to secure the hem for
each panel.
4. Lay pillow front on a table, right side up. Stack
two back panels on top of front panel, with
right sides facing the pillow front, being sure to
overlap hemmed edge of each panel at center,
and aligning raw edges of front and backs. Pin as
needed to prevent shifting. Using a ½" (13 mm)
seam allowance, sew all around the edge.
5. Turn pillow right side out and insert form.
