VODIA Update Problem

VODIA should automatically be updated via a program called Client Update. The latest version in November 2017
is VODIA 5.2.45.

Since February the VODIA 5.1 track is closed down. All 5.1 clients will need to be updated to VODIA 5.2 in order
to connect to central systems.

From November 28th in 2017 VODIA version 5.2.45 or later is required. All earlier VODIA 5.2 versions are blocked
so the client needs to update in order to use VODIA.

If somehow a client has not been updated to VODIA 5.2.45 or later, please follow below:

1) Make sure you have a stable internet connection.

2) Check if there are any Windows updates. (Not included: Upgrade to Windows 10).
a. Close VODIA.
b. Install the Windows updates.
c. Open VODIA and check the VODIA version under Menu/About.
d. If the version is still lower than VODIA 5.2.43 continue to next step.

3) Check Client Update.

a. Open Client Update, Start/All Programs/Client Update.
b. Make sure the “Install automatically after download” is checked.
c. Go to Tools/Settings and make sure that everything under Custom is checked. Click Save.
d. Click on “Search for Updates”.

e. If there are no updates or the installation fails continue to next step.

4) Create an Argus case (if you are located in the US or Canada only, send all requested information via E-mail
to: vpa.servicetech@volvo.com).

Create an Argus case or E-mail with the following information.

i. Client Id and VODIA version.

ii. Print screen of the Menu/About screen.
iii. Zip the files and attach to the case.
