HEATH LEDGER

Since it was born, Heath already was predestined to


enter the world of the interpretation. And it is that Heath
comes from squally Heathcliff, the name of the
protagonist of Emily Bronte's novel, Summit.

In the institute it was standing out for his aptitude for


the sports, especially the hockey, but touched more by
the idea of being an actor, it stopped playing to form a
part of the theatrical company Globe Shakespeare
Company.

In 1999 it gave the great jump in his career and


travelled to the American continent. His first movie was
10 reasons to hate yourself, a version teen of The
fierecilla tamed of Shakespeare, who obtained a great

Heath Ledger was born on April 4, 1979, in Perth, Western


Australia, son of Sally Ledger Bell, a Frenchman's teacher,
and Kim Ledger, a motorist and engineer, whose family
established and directed the company Ledger Engineering

Critics' Circle of Cinema of New York as of the Critics' Circle
of Cinema of San Francisco for his action in Brokeback

PRIZES
Ledger obtained an Oscar, a Globe of Gold, a BAFTA and a
prize of the Actors' Union for his paper in The Dark Knight.

by the movie Brokeback Mountain
