Claudio Pizarro
Claudio Pizarro is without a doubt (numbers don't lie) the most successful Peruvian football player

that has represented our country overseas. He has won absolutely everything with Bayern Munich

during his time in Germany while also building a legend status with the club that bet on him for the

first time, Werder Bremen.

Pizza as he was also known, left Peru at a very young age of 20 years old when Werder Bremen

decided to gamble on the promising Peruvian gem hoping that he could provide a boost to their

attack, and that's exactly what he did. Claudio scored 38th goals in his first two seasons at the

Bundesliga which lure Bayern Munich to get him next season, the rest was literally history.

Pizarro decided to hang his boots with an exhibition match full of ex-teammates of the caliber of

Arjen Robben, Mario Gomez, and Philipp Lahm among others. Claudio has set many records and

will forever be remembered due to his prolific goal scoring capacities which allowed him to become

the all time goalscorer non-German at the Bundesliga and while doing that, putting our flag in the

spotlight of world football during his entire career.
