Write your essay.

I'm not a superstitions person. I don't believe especially if we meet a black cat, it will bring us bad
luck. The colour of a cat is determined by its genetics rather than by the luck it brings.
On the other hand, I do practise some of the superstitions such as washing feet before entering the
house. It is not to ward off evil spirits but to prevent bacteria in the house. Besides, I also do keep my
broom aside from other things to avoid kids playing on it. The broom is used to sweep away the dust in the
house. Hence, it is not safe for kids to play with it.
There are some superstitions made for good reasons. However, in my opinion, superstitions that
are pointless or unnecessary should be disregarded or avoided.
