The Journey of the Farmers’ Movement is a tribute to the unrelenting struggle of the
farmers and their resistance to the pro corporate agenda of the rulers in Delhi. It is an
attempt to bring to the readers a complex yet coherent picture about what this farmers’
movement entailed, what it truly accomplished, and what are its possible ramifications for
the future of protracted people’s movements in India. And it does so through the eyes of
those who led the movement from the front, and those who stood in solidarity with it.
