hit song by Franco-American band, Hold Your Horses!,

Jaz: Offers a wink at art history as band members playfully reconstruct famous
paintings in an off the wall lyrical interpretation all their own. Produced by L’Ogre.

Jelo: Magpplay kami ng music then huhulaan nyo yung painting na nandun sa
line na yun.

Interpretations:

Midge: Kaya natripan ng director ng music video ilagay yung mga famous
paintings, para mashowcase in a creative way,
Midge: Sunflowers by Van gogh. I like this painting a lot because this is how Van
Gogh was introduced to me and his other paintings.

Cess: some people may interpret it as offensive, pero art can bring people
together

Cess: Portrait of Dora Maar by Pablo Picasso, si Dora Markovic jowa siya ni
Pablo Picasso that time. Kaso 9 years lang tinagal nila; kaya sila nag break kasi
‘di pa pala naghihiwalay si Pablo Picasso at yung una niyang asawa. Ang angas
lang kasi ng painting, kasi napaka-unusual kasi objects are analyzed, broken up
and reassembled in an abstracted form.

Aeb: Yung kanta love story siya, pero tungkol lang talaga sa mga taong hopeless
romantic.

Aeb: The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticeli

It practically represents the revival of civilization, a new hope, geopolitical, social,
and cultural transformation that happened following the chaos of the Middle
Ages.

Mai: Karamihan ng mga taong nakapanood ng music video ay na-appreciate

kahit na "parody," ginawa iyon para mappreciate yung paintings in a FUN way

Mai: Liberty Leading the People

This is the art that I want kase it has a political significance. It is often used in
popular culture na sinisymbolize ang kalayaan ng mga tao from oppressive
domination.

by Christians especially on Holy Thursday. The Last Supper provides the
scriptural basis for the Eucharist, also known as "Holy Communion" or "The
Lord's Supper".

artist) dated 1819. The enormous artwork shows the aftermath of the 1816
shipwreck of the French Royal Navy ship “Medusa” off the coast of Senegal. Due
to a lack of lifeboats, 150 survivors boarded a raft and were devastated by
malnutrition during a 13-day ordeal that devolved into murder and cannibalism.
When they were rescued at sea, just a few remained.
