I’m Mariana Tavares and like you all know, me and some of my classmates made several researches

about games for example, video games, board games, field games etc... and most of them with some
educational purposes, so today I’m going to talk about the fifteen best educational video games for
children.

A video game or computer game is an electronic game that involves interaction with a user
interface or input device – such as a joystick, controller, keyboard, or motion sensing device – to
generate visual feedback. This feedback is shown on a video display device, such as a TV set,
monitor, touchscreen, or virtual reality headset. Video games are often augmented with audio
feedback delivered through speakers or headphones, and sometimes with other types of feedback,
including haptic technology. I know this explanation is a bit confusing, but I believe that most of you
play videogames so there’s no need to worry about this!

Although gaming's main purpose is simply to entertain, there have been numerous releases over the
years that aim to educate children in effective and engaging ways, just like the ones we are gonna
see right now.

(say the names)

I found all of them very interesting but I’m going to talk about three of the that I truly liked, starting
with Endless Ocean.

I choosed this game, endless ocean, because I really like sea life and it really fascinates me, the
game doesn’t have that great graphics and all but I believe that this game would be amazing since
we could discover new species and go into the bottom of the ocean without needing to go diving.
Well, about The game, it offers minimal limitations to the player, letting them explore the ocean
around them at their own pace just like I said. While down in the sea, players will encounter a huge
variety of sea life that will be accurately named and categorized once players discover them. A
sequel, titled Endless Ocean 2: Adventures of the Deep, was released in 2010 and is also worth
checking out. It’s like pokemon but with sea life

In second place we have Scribblenauts Unlimited and to be trully with you guys I never though that
this could be na educational game! Well, Scribblenauts Unlimited was initially released in 2012 on
Nintendo 3DS and Wii U before coming to PC, iOS, Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One in
the years that followed. The game is the fourth entry in the Scribblenauts franchise, which began in
2009 and stood out in the sandbox genre with its emphasis on puzzle-solving. The puzzles will
improve the child's cognitive skills, as the player can summon a ton of different objects and apply
adjectives to them in hopes of completing the different tasks, it sounds spretty cool.

Finally we have Animal Jam Classic I actually played this game once wiht my friend Iara, we had so
much fun playing it and the game itself it’s adorable and so cute!!Animal Jam Classic (formerly
Animal Jam) was developed by WildWorks (formerly Smart Bomb Interactive), a Utah-based
company that is also known for its work on the Bee Movie Game and the kart-racing game Pac-Man
World Rally.Animal Jam Classic is a massively multiplayer online game that was made in
collaboration with the National Geographic Society. The game intends to teach children about
Zoology, predominantly through puzzles and mini-games and since it’s online you can play it with
your friends like I did and make the game even more exciting, it’s like club penguin, I don’t know if
you ever heard of it but it’s bacically the same.

Conclusion:

As you could see video games don’t always need to be about violence and guns like fortnite for
example, they can be educational and really funny at the same time. Most video games are pretty
cool and pretty adictive too!
