PENZONE
PENICILLIN G 100 000 I.U
Intermammary infusion active against Gram-positive
bacteria and Gram-negative bacteria for clinical mastitis

COMPOSITION
Each 10 ml syringe contains:
PENICILLIN G 100 000 I.U
DESCRIPTION
PENICILLIN G inhibits bacterial protein synthesis,is active against Gram-positive bacteria,including
Staphylococci,Streptococci and Mycoplasmas; however it is hardly active against Gram-negative
bacteria such as E. coli. PENICILLIN G bactericidal effect against Staphylococcus aureus and E.
coli and bacteriostatic activity against Streptococci.
INDICATIONS
PENICILLIN G is indicated for the treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating dairy cattle caused by
Staphylococcus aureus (both penicillinase and non-penicillinase producing strains),Streptococcus
agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus and Escherichia coli.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Suspension in injector,for intramammary administration. Clean
and disinfect all teats to be treated. Shake the injector, place
the cannulla on the teat canal and inject the suspension. Use
one injector per infected quarter. Treat for 3 consecutive days
with an interval of 24 hours. In persistent infections, the
therapy can be prolonged with 1 or 2 days.

WITHDRAWAL PERIOD
Meat : 3 days / Milk : 84 hours

CLOXALIN
Cloxacillin 200 mg
Broad spectrum antibiotic intramammary tube for the
treatment of mastitis in lactating cows

COMPOSITION
Each 10 ml syringe contains:
Cloxacillin 200 mg / Am picillin 100 000 I.U
DESCRIPTION
Antibiotic for the treatment of mastitis in lactating cows inhibits bacterial protein synthesis, is
active against Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococci, Streptococci and Mycoplasmas;
however it is hardly active against Gram-negative bacteria such as E. coli. PENICILLIN G bactericidal
effect against Staphylococcus aureus and E. coli and bacteriostatic activity against Streptococci.
INDICATIONS
Clozone is recommended for the treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating dairy cattle caused by
Staphylococcus aureus (both penicillinase and non-penicillinase producing strains),Streptococcus
agalactiae, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus and Escherichia coli.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Suspension in injector, for intramammary administration.
Infuse one syringe into each affected quarter immediately
after milking, at 12 hour intervals, for 3 consecutive milkings

Meat : 4 days / Milk : 60 hours

AMOZONE
Amoxicillin 200 mg
Broad spectrum bactericidal treatment for mastitis in
lactating cows

COMPOSITION
Each 10 ml syringe contains:
Amoxicillin (as amoxicillin trihydrate), 200 mg
Clavulanic acid (as potassium clavulanate) 50 mg / Prednisolone 10 mg
DESCRIPTION
Active against a wide range of clinically im portant bacteria including the following organisms which
are commonly associated with bovine mastitis: Staphylococci (including ß-lactamase producing
strains), Streptococci (including S. agalactiae, S. dysgalactiae and S. uberis). A. pyogenes and other
minor members of the Corynebacteria spp.
INDICATIONS
Amozone for the treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating dairy cattle caused by Staphylococcus
aureus (both penicillinase and non-penicillinase producing strains), Streptococcus agalactiae,
Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptococcus and Escherichia coli.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
Suspension in injector, for intramammary administration.
Administer at a dose rate of 3 syringes per infected quarter
with a single syringe given every 12 hours. Use each syringe
only once

clinical mastitis associated with difficult cure gram-positive
infections
COMPOSITION
Each 10 ml syringe contains:
Cloxacillin sodium 200 mg
DESCRIPTION
Antibiotic for treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating cows and ewes. Active against a wide range
of clinically im portant bacteria including the following organisms which are commonly associated
with bovine mastitis: Staphylococci (including ß-lactamase producing strains), Streptococci
(including S. agalactiae,S. dysgalactiae and S. uberis). A. pyogenes and other minor members of the
Corynebacteria spp.

Cefoperazone 250 mg
A broad-spectrum, single-dose, antibiotic intramammary
tube for the treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating dairy cattle

Cefoperazone (as sodium salt) 250 mg
DESCRIPTION
Antibiotic for treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating cows. Active against a wide range of

PIRLIZONE
Pirlimycin Hydrochloride 50 mg
An antibiotic tube licensed for the treatment of sub-clinical
mastitis in lactating dairy cattle

COMPOSITION
Each 10 ml syringe contains:
Pirlimycin Hydrochloride (equivalent to pirlimycin) 50 mg
Anhydrous citric acid 42.3 mg / Sodium citrate 88.2 mg
DESCRIPTION
Antibiotic for treatment of clinical mastitis in lactating cows. Active against a wide range of
clinically im portant bacteria including the following organisms which are commonly associated with

Infuse one syringe (50 mg pirlimycin) with applicator into each
infected quarter. The treatment consists of eight infusions of
one syringe every 24 hours

Amoxicillin trihydrate 200 mg

Novobiocin sodium 100 mg
A broad-spectrum, antibiotic tube containing prednisolone

COMPOSITION
Each 10 ml syringe contains:
Novobiocin sodium 100 mg / Neomycin sulphate 105 mg,
Procaine penicillin 100 mg, / Dihydrostreptomycin sulphate 100 mg
