texts they have been extracted from. You may discuss poetic techniques,
characterization, author and any other point/s you think are relevant.

Nature, one of the main themes in poetry, is used for different purposes by different
poets. Comment using at least three poems you have studied.

“Fear no More”, “Death be not Proud” and “To Daffodils” are three poems of three
different poets with three different tones and perspectives on death. Comment.

Describe the various ways in which different poets portray ‘war’ in poetry. Refer to at
least three poems by three different poets you have studied.

“ ‘Meeting at Night’ is about love. ‘Though ‘She walks in Beauty’ and ‘Shall I compare
Thee to a Summer’s Day’ too are apparently about love, they are not.” Do you agree?
