1. Describe your experience of implementing the steps of sales funnel in

relation to your project.
Answer. First of all I had to advertise two events “Aarambh 3.0” and
“Arise”, being organised by iFortis worldwide during the dates 1st to 6th
July 2022. This led me to try out poster-making (a first-timer at it, too)
and learning how to target the appropriate audience for both the events
and accordingly try to capture the attention of the intended crowd .

event where the target audiences were
school going kids;

focus was on the college students and corporate
professionals.

However, up till now, the easier part of the task

had been fulfilled. The most daunting part of
the internship for an introvert like me, for obvious reasons, was talking
and dealing with clients/customers. Since these communicational aspects
of marketing mostly involve initiating conversations with strangers as well
as my knowns, it forced me to confront my fears and insecurities and step
out of my comfort zone. After that, I contacted my target audience through
various social media platforms like Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, and
LinkedIn. This, for now, seems to be the biggest attribute this internship
has given me, in terms of personal development. And I couldn’t be more
grateful.

2. What challenges did you face in achieving you target?

Answer. I did face some issues while convincing the participants.

The main challenge that I faced during the sales was the trust issue of
people in India. Students who showed the excitement of participating
in the event usually contacted me. They would ask me about the event
but then they never made the payment and registered themselves. I
tried to follow up with all of them and while that follow up, I came to
know that most of the kids want to participate but their parents were
thinking it to be an online scam. To overcome this issue I influenced
people by telling them about the benefits of participation and
building trust for IFORTIS WORLDWIDE. I achieved all my targets
and learned a lot from here.

3. What marketing strategies did you implement to promote your product/

services?

Answer.. I immediately started my first task of the internship by

designing event posters in which I inculcated all the information about
the event and added a call-to-action button in the poster itself. Then I
put stories of the event “ARISE” and “AARAMBH” on my social media
platforms — Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, and LinkedIn. I
reached out to active Facebook groups of schools around India who
had at least 10K followers. I posted the poster on the walls of these
groups, and I started getting responses. I also contacted my school
teachers and I suggested some of my close friends who have
interesting hobbies to participate in the events and win prizes.

4. What changes you could have done to improve your performance?

Answer. At first I was talking about this competitions only through chat.
and i didn't get any response from this, I understood that I was doing
something wrong, and I will have to find a way to make improvement,
After that I thought it right to talk through on calls and video calls and after
this step i got very good response.

5. What are your learnings from this internship?

Answer.
1. How important good communications skills is.
2. Negotiation
3. Listen more than you talk, and
4. Clients are everything
