My name is Marlenis Silgado, I am from Colombia and I live in Tolú Sucre. I'm
nineteen years old. I am a psychology student at the National Open and Distance
University. My mother tongue is Spanish, I am single. In my free time I like to
study, listen to music, play with my brother, and also watch videos on Facebook.
My favorite color is blue, but sometimes I choose another color. Sometimes I like to
go to the sea because it brings me peace of mind and it seems like a very beautiful
place created by God. When I feel sad I go to the sea to clear my head a little
because it fills me up. Calmly. I live with my parents, who have instilled in me many
values such as respect, humility, simplicity, etc. I have high hopes for the things
that come in my future, but one of the things I want is to be a great professional to
be able to help those people, who really need it and also to be able to give my
parents the happiness they deserve so much.
Tolú is a tourist city in the Gulf of Morrosquillo, along the Caribbean coast in
northern Colombia. It is known for its beaches and shallow calm waters. The
Church of Santiago el Mayor dominates the main square. Just to the north is the
ecological park. Most of the inhabitants live from tourism, but apart from fishing and
tourism, there is a source of informal employment that corresponds to the
"pedicabs", which have become the main source of income for a large majority of
the inhabitants of the urban area. , Tolú is a town where its inhabitants live from
day to day because they do not have a permanent job. The Municipality in terms of
tourism offers tourists vacation cabins, hotels, residences and accommodation.
The vast majority of the cabins are owned by families from the interior of the
country, which place them for rent during vacation seasons. In the urban area of
the Municipality there are several hotels with different rates
