BUSINESS SCENARIO

 Suppose in windshield glass company while movinge glass from one

production station(cnc) to another station(furnace)
 Quality engineer found that glass having scratch marks due to that he stop
the stock for further prodction, he gives red tag to whole trolly
 To enter this information that material is trasfer from unrestricted to quality
we have to do trasfer posting

 In jsw plant a have several storage location
Maintaince people need some material but due to some procurement issue
material is not availbale
 So they took material from production storage location and kept in
maintaince storage location
 Material is moved from one storage location to another storage location to
show in system we have to do stock trasfer
 Storage location can be done single step and two step
 If material is moved directly from sl1 to sl2 then single step 311
 If storage location 2 is far away from storage location 2 then material is
moving in trolley cart we have to do in two step trasfer so that storage
location 1 to stock in trasit 313 and stock in trasit to Storage location2 315
movement type

 Sometime destination plant is far away from destination
 This type of stock transfer involves not only Inventory Management but also
Purchasing at the receiving plant.
 The process begins when receiving plant purchasing department send stock
transport order to receiving plant
 A goods issue referencing this stock transport order is then entered in the
issuing plant
 The quantity booked out is initially managed as stock in transit at the
receiving plant.
 The process is ended by the posting of the goods receipt against the stock
transport order at the receiving plant.
