 1. Scope

Marriage being a true blessing and one of the life’s finest gift we, Muthoot recognize such
auspicious moments and extends best wishes to the employee. As a policy, the company has
instituted a wedding gift in the form of voucher to the employee who is getting married.

2. Policy Initiation, Review and Modification

The Head HR is the initiating & reviewing authority under this policy. The Head HR will review this
policy on need basis, as and when any significant changes occur in the environment in which the
organisation functions (including regulatory changes) to ensure its continuing suitability,
adequacy and effectiveness and submit to the CHRO for approval.

3. Approval Authority

CMD is the approving authority for this policy.

4. Policy Circulation

This document will be made available to Senior Management Personnel and Head of
Departments, upon due authorization by CHRO on a need to know basis. If required the policy
could also be uploaded on the HRMS for ease of access by the concerned stake holders.

5. Eligibility Criteria

• All permanent employees would be eligible for marriage gift

6. Policy Guidelines

• The employee will be eligible to get the gift only once he/she submit the wedding card
to the HR department.
• The gift would be presented by the CMD/HR/HOD/ZH on the day of marriage preferably
• Gift would only be given for first legal marriage
• HR to take care of the verification of marriage invitation
• The gift is only applicable only to employees not to relatives.
• The gift would be in the form of a Gift voucher of Rs 1001/-
