make gift bags.
Ask:

 Is there something that you need to give emphasis?
 Are the steps presented easy to follow?
Students will be grouped into 4 and will be tasked to share the steps or procedures on how to make gift bags based on what they
have watched. Each group will prepare a visual aid that will be posted on the board and later will be given remarks from other
group members.
and Using the same groupings, a member from each group will be called to make a gift bag in front of the class. He/She will cite the
step-by-step procedure while doing based on what they have formed in the group. Afterwards, they will be given a chance to give
comments with each other’s works.

Making gift bags individually under time pressure with the close supervision of the teacher. The time allotted will be 5 minutes
only and they should follow the procedures they have learned.

 B. Directions: Arrange the steps on making gift bags chronologically. Write a for the first step, b for the second step and so on.
________1. Add the handles and decorate if desired.
________2. Cut a piece of paper to 9.5 x 15 inches.
________3. Flip the bag over so that it sits glued-side-down.
________4. Fold and glue the bottom of the bag into place.
________5. Fold the bottom edge of the paper up 2 inches (5 cm) and sharply crease the fold.
________6. Fold the side-creases inward to create a slight accordion effect. ________7. Fold the sides
of the bag into place.
________8. Place the paper in front of you on a flat surface in “landscape” orientation. ________9. Pop the bag
open.
