General Summary
Under the general guidance and supervision of Floor Manager and Floor Supervisors and within the
limits of established corporate policies, procedures and Food & Beverage Manual, assist in providing
appropriate food and beverage service in assigned outlet / restaurant.

Supervises & Controls


1. Report directly to Floor Supervisor
2. Interacts and cooperates with Supervisor and other Food & Beverage staff as required.
3. Interacts with guests as appropriate and courteously.
4. Interacts with Housekeeping, Engineering, Storeroom and other department as requested.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Implements and maintains the appropriate standard performance as per established


food and beverage manual.
2. Assist Captain in providing an overall high standard of food and beverage service to
guests and ensure that the guest satisfaction are met.
3. Ensure punctual attendance and adheres to duty schedules as directed by Floor Managers or
Floor Supervisors.
4. Complies with and ensure that :
a. Healthy, safety and hygiene policy.
b. House rules and regulations
c. Personal grooming and appearance standards.
5. Attends and participates in service briefing.
6. Attends formal training held by arranged Head of Department in regards to Food & Beverage
service quality standard expectation and future career development.
7. Conducts all mise-en place work required and ensures that the expected standard and regulations
are implemented appropirately.
8. Ensures and maintains the standard cleanliness, completeness arrangement and replenisment of :

a. Food & Beverage trolleys/carts


b. Buffet
c. Service station
9. Routine checks, identifies section assigned needs for maintenance work order, relays same to
Supervisors and ensures the accomplishment are proper.
10. Informs, notifies supervisors of special requests and or other related matters.
11. Practice basic skills or guest courtesy as appropriate.
12. Performs related duties and special projects as assigned.
