Description:
Story board may be used primarily in teaching language and literature. But it can also
be used in different subject areas.

Goals/Objectives:
The purpose of this TLR is to help both teachers and learners to: (1) present the lesson;
(2) stimulate students’ thinking skills; (3) memorize and understand the sequence of the
lesson; (4) develop students’ critical thinking; (5) predict endings and sequence of a story;
and, (6) create concept and storyline.

How to use:

Tool for Sequencing Activity


1. Label each board with number or paragraph if the activity to be done is
sequencing. The board can also represents pictures only if the narration will be
created by the learners.
2. The students will arrange the story board according to the sequence of the
story/selection presented to them.

Use to Create a Story/Situations
1. Arrange the story board properly.
2. Ask a student to narrate a story or situation based on the picture they see.
3. It can also be done in written form.
