the box below either A or B or C in each box, in order of your preference: A is your first choice, B
is second choice, and C is third choice.

COMPUTATIONAL ECONOMICS – BUSINESS - FINANCE – ACCOUNTING LAB (CEBFA)

Research direction: Big data analysis, Computational economics, E-commerce, Development
economics, Business management, Financial analysis, Stock markets, and Accounting issues.

MARKETING AND SUPPLY CHAIN LAB (MSC)

Research direction: Sustainability in Supply Chain and Marketing with a SMEs focus, Traditional
and modern Marketing research and analytics.

GLOBAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP LAB (GEL)

Research direction: Entrepreneurship and global business

HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT (HRM)

Research direction: Human resource management, Employment relations, CSI, SME
management, Leadership, Consumer behaviors, Data analysis.

Department Head of Business Administration is responsible for allocating students to a specific

Lab with regards to their choices, their major and to lab’s availability. Student’s allocation and
notifications will be sent to students during Week 1.

C. STUDENTS OBLIGATIONS AND PENALTIES

By signing this Research Lab Application Form, I hereby acknowledge and agree to be bound by
all of the policies, procedures, rules, regulations, and academic requirements applicable to
Eastern International University (EIU), its students, and its programs. I also agree to the
allocation, timeline, schedules, procedures, regulations and requirements of the Lab, including
but not limited to:
1. Students are prohibited from Lab registration unless they have completed Concentration
Declaration.
2. During four Quarters, from the date of Lab Registration, students must complete all
phases of BUS450 course.
 Penalty: Students will be laid off from the current Lab after four quarters. Students
can register BUS450 Research Lab again in next quarters. However, they have to
do Proposal Defense again.
3. During four Quarters, from the date of Lab Registration, students cannot register or
change to new Lab unless there is permission from the current Lab Director.
4. Students have to attend all four sessions of BUS450 Lab Training.
 Penalty: Students are prohibited from Proposal Defense in that quarter.
5. Students cannot miss or skip (without passed results) any phase of the process before
Final Defense, especially: Lab training, Proposal defense, AAO registration.
6. Students cannot do Proposal defense and Final defense in the same quarter (but students
can do the Lab training and Proposal defense in the same quarter).
7. Students have to meet advisors at least three times before Final Defense.
8. Students have to meet other requirements from the Lab that they registered (deadline of
submission, report formats, documents, plagiarism, etc.)
