1. Students will orally identify facts about apples with 80% accuracy.
2. Students will identify two dimensional shapes using colors to sort with 90% accuracy.
3. Students will orally identify the life cycle of an apple with 80% accuracy.

ACTIVITIES (There are three sections here):
OPENING (Introduction, purpose, hook)
1. The teacher will introduce the lesson by asking the essential questions as a group.
2. Students will identify and record their findings via PowerPoint on what they know about
apples as a whole group.
BODY (Bulleted step by step/differentiation must be included)
1. The teacher will play an online story about Apples.
2. As a class, students will discuss the lifecycle of an apple.
3. The teacher will pass out an interactive activity sheet where students will complete
together as a group.
CLOSURE (Wrap up and brief summary): How will you plan to restate the lesson
objective?
1. The teacher will complete the lesson with a review based on what they learned via the
PowerPoint presentation and group discussion.
2. Students will break into small group learning centers to complete an apple shape coloring
sheet and writing fall words center.
