ABSTRACT

3
This research presents the survey results on the benefits of part-time work
while studying for final-year students of the Faculty of English Language,
Hanoi University of Business and Technology. The fact that more students
are choosing part-time jobs indicates that more students are realizing the
value of working part-time while they are in school because it improves
employability and provides additional money during times of financial
hardship. Students can better their financial situations by working part-time
jobs, but they can also gain experience; the amount of knowledge they learn
depends on how much effort they put into each part-time job.

PART A: INTRODUCTION

1. Rationale for the study

5
Students that take part-time jobs throughout the school day are
becoming more and more popular. It has consequently become one of the
most contentious topics among students. Some believe that having a part-
time job can provide some difficulties for students. Others contend that
students can gain from working a part-time job. I am determined that
students should have part-time jobs for the reasons I'll discuss in the
research that follows.
2. Aims and objectives of the study
The research aims to find out what are the benefits of a part-time job
on the study, students can develop knowledge and skills to make thrown

work also addresses several specific needs for students such as helping
students earn money, improve their knowledge, and gain more experience to
be able to determine future careers.

3. Result, Remark
The development part of this document is divided into 3 main parts:
Theoretical Background, Data Analysis, and Results/Remarks. To establish
the study, the contents developed in this study are presented logically by
category. The data collected from the survey is presented in tabular form. The
theory of the topic closely follows the theory of the topic: the benefits of part-
time jobs for final-year students, related to the English language major, and
data collection methods. The study focused mainly on the analysis of the data
obtained as a percentage.
Part B focuses on completing the main task of answering 3 research
questions that the topic has raised at the beginning.
In general, chapter 2 of this thesis has created the most general and
objective view of the job orientation of the -classes of the Faculty of English
at HUBT.
Part-time work is also an indispensable part of the student experience, not
only in earning money but also giving you valuable practical skills and
lessons, The survey results also show that the final year students mostly find
themselves a company related to their work to do part-time work, work part-
time to learn and gain experience, not make money. Don't focus on working
hard, focus on growth, and improve yourself.
PART C: CONCLUSION

11
1. Recapitulation
Students mainly work part-time because they want to increase their
income and take advantage of their free time. Most students know how to
balance the number of jobs with the number of hours worked. From these
conclusions, the article also proposes some solutions for schools to promote
the positive effects of students working part-time.
Conclusions drawn from the article will be an important source of information
for universities, student affairs departments, and related associations in
helping students better understand the benefits of part-time work.
2. Limitation of the study
The researcher may find many shortcomings in himself when doing this
research. The researcher cannot conduct other professional research methods
such as hypothesis inference to obtain more reliable results.
3. Suggestion for further study
The researcher should invite more people and employ additional data
collection techniques in future investigations to get better findings. Overall,
despite the study's limitations, the research was carried out with the
supervisor's direction and by the researcher individually.
